The Community Nursing team are employed by Lincolnshire Community Health Services (LCHS) and work alongside the Old Leake Medical Centre team. They will see patients who require dressings, injections, removal of sutures, treatment for leg ulcers and other district nursing procedures. These clinics are unfortunately held at the Grace Swan health clinic in Spilsby.
The Community Nurses visit housebound and palliative patients, working closely with McMillan and Marie Curie Nurses in the management of pain and other symptoms and providing psychological, social and spiritual support to ensure the best quality of life for patients and their families.
