Our Clinical software company are changing the way your medical record can be shared depending on your expressed consent.
In simple terms this new data sharing model requires you to decide if you consent, or not, to the following:
- Sharing Out” consent – which allows information from the GP record to be available in the shared pool of information (so that other NHS services can see your GP record)
- Sharing in” consent – which allows information from other NHS services to be available in the shared pool of information (i.e. so your GP at the practice can see entries from Community nurses, podiatrists, Health Visitors etc).
